ComReg Accepts Dispute Resolution Request from BT
[ Wed, 18th Jun 2008 ]
ComReg has received and accepted a request for dispute resolution from BT Communications Ireland Limited under Regulation 31 of the Framework Regulations. The scope of the dispute is as follows:
"The Commission for Communications Regulation ('ComReg') has received a formal dispute between BT Communications Ireland Limited ('BT') and Eircom Limited ('Eircom'). The scope of the dispute is that BT alleges that Eircom has made an unauthorised price change in modifying its interpretation of the application of the "Main Link Access" charge to end user links in Partial Private Circuits.
ComReg notes that the material in the dispute refers specifically to a change in respect of the application of a Main Link Access charge in the context of a zero length Main Link and it is this aspect in particular which forms the basis of the dispute.
The dispute has been raised in the context of BT's understanding of Eircom's obligations in respect of Cost Orientation and Transparency in this area."
