ComReg extends deadline for responses to draft Strategy for Managing the Radio Spectrum 2008 - 2010

The Commission for Communications Regulation (ComReg) has today announced that the deadline for the submission of responses to its proposed strategy for Managing the Radio Spectrum: 2008 - 2010 (see document attached) has been extended to 2 May, 2008, following requests from interested parties.

ComReg awards consultancy contracts

ComReg wishes to announce that it has awarded four contracts to three sets of consultants, for consultancy services advising on eircom's proposed structural separation. The total value of all four contracts awarded is 712,846 euro. Oxera/Ellare has been appointed to advise on the operational impact of separation. LECG has been appointed to advise on two areas, strategic issues and regulatory pricing/accounting separation. IBI Corporate Finance has been retained to advise on corporate finance issues
