ComReg extends deadline for submission of responses to ComReg Document 08/06

ComReg has extended the deadline by one week for submission of responses to ComReg Document 08/06 on Market Analysis: Wholesale Voice Call Termination on Hutchison 3G Ireland’s Mobile Network. The consultation period will now run to 5.30 pm on Tuesday 19 February, 2008.

ComReg awards consultancy contracts

ComReg wishes to announce that it has awarded four contracts to three sets of consultants, for consultancy services advising on eircom's proposed structural separation. The total value of all four contracts awarded is 712,846 euro. Oxera/Ellare has been appointed to advise on the operational impact of separation. LECG has been appointed to advise on two areas, strategic issues and regulatory pricing/accounting separation. IBI Corporate Finance has been retained to advise on corporate finance issues
