ComReg issues Revised Guidelines to Licence Applicants for Radio Spectrum Links

ComReg has issued revised guidelines to licence applicants for Radio Spectrum Links - Point-to-Point (> 1GHz). This document replaces the previous guidelines which were issued in December 2002. The guidelines – ComReg 98/14R4 – are available here.

ComReg awards consultancy contracts

ComReg wishes to announce that it has awarded four contracts to three sets of consultants, for consultancy services advising on eircom's proposed structural separation. The total value of all four contracts awarded is 712,846 euro. Oxera/Ellare has been appointed to advise on the operational impact of separation. LECG has been appointed to advise on two areas, strategic issues and regulatory pricing/accounting separation. IBI Corporate Finance has been retained to advise on corporate finance issues
