Extension to responses to document 07/55 Consultation on Universal Service Performance Targets

ComReg has launched a public consultation on setting binding targets for Eircom in providing telephone service, fault levels and fault repair time. The consultation document is here. The closing date for comments has been extended to Monday 24th September 2007. Please note that no further extensions can be given.

ComReg awards consultancy contracts

ComReg wishes to announce that it has awarded four contracts to three sets of consultants, for consultancy services advising on eircom's proposed structural separation. The total value of all four contracts awarded is 712,846 euro. Oxera/Ellare has been appointed to advise on the operational impact of separation. LECG has been appointed to advise on two areas, strategic issues and regulatory pricing/accounting separation. IBI Corporate Finance has been retained to advise on corporate finance issues
