The work that I do in ComReg involves an amalgamation of the skills developed in previous roles.

I am required to work independently in creating my legal advice, and so my experience as a barrister has proven very useful, but I must also feed into the expectations of a team and so experience in an office setting has also assisted me.

In my short time in the office I have acquired a wealth of knowledge about telecommunications regulation, from both my colleagues and guided independent research.

Communication is central to my role in ComReg. It is essential that I am able to communicate my legal advice in an appropriate manner and also that I am able to ensure that I can clarify issues and expectations with my colleagues.
