Irish Text Relay Service (ITRS) for consumers who are Deaf and Hard of Hearing

We remind consumers who are deaf or hard of hearing that they can use the Irish Text Relay Service (ITRS) when making and receiving calls during the COVID-19 pandemic restrictions. We encourage those who are deaf or hard of hearing or who have difficulty speaking who haven’t used the ITRS service before to try the service.

ITRS translates text into voice and voice into text through an ITRS agent and is available to customers of Eir, Sky, Tesco Mobile, Three, Virgin Media and Vodafone.

ITRS is available directly from the www.itrs.ie . To use ITRS, you must first register your device for ITRS. You can find details of how to do this and other useful information on how to operate ITRS on www.itrs.ie.
