Post and parcel deliveries during the Covid-19 pandemic

An Post, as the designated universal postal service provider for the State, is continuing to provide the universal postal service during the Covid-19 pandemic period as normal, and An Post has not advised ComReg of any significant disruptions to the universal postal service during the period.

Where postal items need a signature from the addressee to show proof of delivery, such as certain parcels or registered items, in order to minimise Covid-19 risks delivery staff are no longer handing their scanner to the addressee for signature but the delivery postperson will sign on your behalf, in your presence.
