{"id":90470,"date":"2016-03-22T15:20:29","date_gmt":"2016-03-22T15:20:29","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/comreg.ie.grigore"},"modified":"2021-10-02T18:17:03","modified_gmt":"2021-10-02T18:17:03","slug":"liosta-ndioluinti-ceadunais","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.comreg.ie\/ga\/tionsclaiocht\/speictream-raidio\/dioluine-ceadunais\/liosta-ndioluinti-ceadunais\/","title":{"rendered":"Liosta na nD\u00edol\u00faint\u00ed Cead\u00fanais"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Exemptions from licensing are normally established when there is no requirement to manage the specific spectrum band and where the risk of harmful interference is negligible.<br \/>\nThe Interface Requirements for Radio Services in Ireland are set out in <a href=\"\/?dlm_download=interface-requirements-for-radio-services-in-ireland\">06\/47R.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The following is a non-exhaustive list of licence exemptions.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Short Range Devices (SRD)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The vast majority of licence exempt equipment falls under this category.<\/p>\n<p>SRDs include various low power devices such as inductive applications, alarms, model control, walkie talkies, wireless microphones and audio systems, radio LANS, Road Transport and Traffic Telematics (RTTT), Radio Frequency Identification systems (RFID) etc. For more information see <a title=\"This link will open in a new window\" href=\"https:\/\/www.comreg.ie\/?dlm_download=permitted-short-range-devices-in-ireland-2\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">02\/71R.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Operation of Wideband Data Transmission Systems (including WAS\/RLANs) in the 5.8 GHz band is also subject to the Registration of operational base stations with ComReg.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Citizen\u2019s Band (CB)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>AM citizens\u2019 band (CB) and PR 27 radio equipment.<\/p>\n<p>Operational modes are AM (1W erp), FM (4W erp) and SSB (4W pep). CB is from 26.96-27.41MHz where forty 10 kHz channels are available.<br \/>\nFor more information see <a title=\"This link will open in a new window\" href=\"\/publications\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">S.I. 436 of 1998<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Satellite<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Certain Land Mobile Earth Stations including Inmarsat, Eutelsat, Italsat, Arcanet and Thuraya Stations.
