ComReg has established frameworks on a Code of Practice for the handling of consumer complaints by service providers. Each service provider&#8217;s code sets out the procedure for making a complaint and the level of service that you as\u00a0a customer can expect.\u00a0Service providers should provide a copy of their code of conduct to any customer who requests a copy.\u00a0Most service providers have a copy available on their website.<\/p>\n<p>If you are not satisfied with\u00a0the initial response to your complaint,\u00a0you can request that the complaint is escalated to a higher level within the organisation, again how you do this should be outlined in the \u201ccode\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span lang=\"en\">Lodging your complaint\/query with ComReg<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span lang=\"en\">ComReg can seek to resolve disputes between consumers and service providers where the service providers own dispute resolution process has broken down.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span lang=\"en\"><strong>Tips for making a complaint<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<h3><span lang=\"en\"><strong>\u00a0Checklist when contacting ComReg about a complaint<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<ul><span lang=\"en\"><\/p>\n<li>Has the issue causing the complaint occurred recently?<\/li>\n<li>Have you followed\u00a0the service provider\u2019s complaint handling procedures \u201ccode of practice\u201d?<\/li>\n<li>Are you the account holder?
