Broadband Cost Reduction Regulations Definitions<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

network<\/span><\/h4>\n

(a)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 a public communications network,<\/p>\n

(b)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 the physical infrastructure of a network intended to produce, transport or distribute –<\/p>\n

(i)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 gas,<\/p>\n

(ii)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 electricity, including public lighting,<\/p>\n

(iii)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 heating,<\/p>\n

(iv)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 water, including disposal or treatment of waste water and sewage, and drainage systems, excluding elements of networks used for the provision of water intended for human consumption<\/p>\n

(c)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 transport services, including railways, roads, ports and airports;<\/span><\/p>\n
