{"id":107267,"date":"2019-03-15T10:54:26","date_gmt":"2019-03-15T10:54:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.comreg.ie\/?p=107267"},"modified":"2020-01-24T09:12:26","modified_gmt":"2020-01-24T09:12:26","slug":"world-consumer-rights-day","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.comreg.ie\/ga\/world-consumer-rights-day\/","title":{"rendered":"World Consumer Rights Day"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Each year on 15 March, the consumer movement celebrates World Consumer Rights Day which aims to raise global awareness of consumer rights and needs.<\/p>\n<p>For this years\u2019 World Consumer Rights Day, we want consumers to know their rights when dealing with their service provider, and to know that you have the right to redress when things go wrong.<\/p>\n<p>ComReg\u2019s Consumer Care team is here to help you deal with your communications (mobile phone, home phone, broadband, premium rate services) and postal service issue and to ensure your rights are upheld:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We will inform you of your service provider\u2019s obligations.<\/li>\n<li>If you have lodged a complaint, followed your service provider\u2019s complaint procedures, and your complaint remains unresolved, we may be able to review the issue.<\/li>\n<li>In the case of mobile phone, home phone, broadband service premium rate services issues, we may be able to escalate it on your behalf to your service provider.<\/li>\n<li>We will also give you a realistic idea of the likely outcome of your complaint.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you need information or have a question, please get in touch.\u00a0 You can contact our Consumer Care team by phone, email, webchat and SMS service or through our <a href=\"\/queries-complaints\/got-a-question\/\">online form<\/a>.\u00a0 The Consumer Care team is available from 8am to 8pm Monday to Friday and 9am to 1pm on Saturday.<\/p>\n<p>For more information, please see <a href=\"\/consumer-information\/\">\/consumer-information\/<\/a> or our complaints guide which you can access <a href=\"\/media\/dlm_uploads\/2019\/10\/ComReg-Complaints-Guide-En.pdf\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Each year on 15 March, the consumer movement celebrates World Consumer Rights Day which aims to raise global awareness of consumer rights and needs.
