{"id":115203,"date":"2020-12-08T19:21:24","date_gmt":"2020-12-08T19:21:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.comreg.ie\/?p=115203"},"modified":"2020-12-09T11:32:00","modified_gmt":"2020-12-09T11:32:00","slug":"phishing-warning-latest-email-scam","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.comreg.ie\/ga\/phishing-warning-latest-email-scam\/","title":{"rendered":"Phishing Warning: Latest email Scam"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>ComReg has become aware of fraudulent emails purporting to come from An Post, with the subject line \u201cReminder: Your package could not be delivered\u201d and a ComReg.ie email address (<a href=\"mailto:consumerline@comreg.ie\">consumerline@comreg.ie<\/a>) The email contains an An Post logo in the body of the email.<\/p>\n<p>Some of these seek personal information from consumer and\/or seek credit card, debit card or bank account details in connection with an undelivered package.<\/p>\n<p>These emails did not issue from ComReg (<a href=\"mailto:consumerline@comreg.ie\">consumerline@comreg.ie<\/a>). ComReg would never ask for personal financial details in such a manner.<\/p>\n<p>Anyone who receives an email purporting to be from ComReg and suspects it to be fraudulent or a scam should simply delete it.
