{"id":119030,"date":"2021-10-18T13:32:15","date_gmt":"2021-10-18T13:32:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.comreg.ie\/?p=119030"},"modified":"2023-08-28T11:45:41","modified_gmt":"2023-08-28T11:45:41","slug":"tesco-mobile-to-refund-over-e380000-of-post-cancellation-charges","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.comreg.ie\/ga\/tesco-mobile-to-refund-over-e380000-of-post-cancellation-charges\/","title":{"rendered":"Tesco Mobile to refund over \u20ac380,000 of \u201cPost Cancellation Charges\u201d"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Tesco Mobile Ireland (\u201cTesco Mobile\u201d) recently undertook a review of its billing system to determine whether its customers were being charged for services beyond the cancellation of their contracts, what are termed &#8220;Post Cancellation Charges&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>Tesco Mobile advised ComReg that 27,500 customers were impacted by the charging of post cancellation charges to a value of \u20ac388,000.<\/p>\n<p>Customers will be refunded using the email address that Tesco Mobile have on record.
