{"id":123047,"date":"2022-12-14T16:24:28","date_gmt":"2022-12-14T16:24:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.comreg.ie\/?p=123047"},"modified":"2022-12-14T16:24:28","modified_gmt":"2022-12-14T16:24:28","slug":"comreg-publishes-the-results-of-the-main-stage-of-the-multi-band-spectrum-award-mbsa2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.comreg.ie\/ga\/comreg-publishes-the-results-of-the-main-stage-of-the-multi-band-spectrum-award-mbsa2\/","title":{"rendered":"ComReg publishes the results of the Main Stage of the Multi Band Spectrum Award (MBSA2)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>ComReg has published the results of the Main Stage of the MBSA2 Award Process (<a href=\"https:\/\/bit.ly\/3WzBUNt\">Document 22\/105<\/a>), which has determined the winners and prices for the 470 MHz of spectrum made available across four valuable spectrum bands (700 MHz, 2.1 GHz, 2.3 GHz and 2.6 GHz Bands).<\/p>\n<p>These spectrum bands are suitable for providing 5G and widespread mobile coverage, along with increasing the capacity of mobile and fixed networks.<\/p>\n<p>There are four Winning Bidders: Eir, Imagine, Three and Vodafone, with winning bids and prices are set out in the <a href=\"https:\/\/bit.ly\/3WzBUNt\">Information Notice.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The results of this award should prove very good for competition and consumers.
