We also informed <a href=\"\/consumer-tools-to-help-you\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">consumers about tools available<\/a> on ComReg\u2019s website such as our <a href=\"\/comreg-outdoor-mobile-coverage-map-and-app\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Outdoor Mobile Coverage Map and App<\/a>. We <a href=\"\/consumer-care-opening-hours-christmas-and-new-year\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">published the operating hours<\/a> that our Consumer Care team was available to offer trusted advice and support over Christmas and New Year.<\/p>\n<p>We <strong>advised consumers<\/strong> <a href=\"\/how-to-complain-about-your-mobile-phone-landline-or-broadband-service\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">how to complain<\/a> about their mobile phone, landline or broadband service. We also advised on <a href=\"\/how-to-find-mobile-service-deals\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">how to find mobile service deals<\/a>, \u00a0<a href=\"\/how-to-check-mobile-coverage-at-a-location\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">how to check mobile coverage at a location<\/a> and what to do in the case of an <a href=\"\/unexpected-text-message-or-charge-on-your-phone-bill\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">unexpected text message or charge on a phone bill<\/a>. We advised consumers to visit our Postal section on our website for information on <a href=\"\/postal-services\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">how to make a complaint about postal<\/a> services. We detailed the <a href=\"\/last-posting-dates-for-christmas-delivery\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">last posting dates for Christmas delivery<\/a> and <a href=\"\/royal-mail-strike\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">notified<\/a> of <a href=\"\/royal-mail-strike-9-and-11-december-2022\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">a number<\/a> of <a href=\"\/royal-mail-strike-14-and-15-december-2022\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Royal Mail strikes<\/a> in <a href=\"\/royal-mail-strike-23-and-24-december-2022\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">the UK and Northern Ireland<\/a>. We reminded Vomino customers that <a href=\"\/vomino-ceasing-operations\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Vomino ceased operations<\/a> and advised on steps to take to switch to an alternative service provider immediately.<\/p>\n<p>Our <strong>compliance <\/strong>work resulted in <a href=\"\/three-refunds-7000-customers\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Three refunding a total of \u20ac26,000 to 7,000 customers<\/a> who were charged in excess of the actual cost of PRS SMS. ComReg issued an <a href=\"\/non-compliance-to-eircom-2\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Opinion of Non-Compliance to Eircom<\/a> in relation to Contract Change Notifications and an <a href=\"\/publication\/opinion-of-non-compliance-to-eircom-limited-with-respect-to-provisions-of-the-universal-service-regulations\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Information Notice<\/a> regarding an Opinion of Non-Compliance with respect to provisions of the Universal Service Regulations.<\/p>\n<p>In terms of <strong>research and reports<\/strong> our consumer news highlighted the findings from <a href=\"\/mobile-consumer-experience-survey-2022\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ComReg\u2019s 2022 Mobile Consumer Experience Survey<\/a>. We published <a href=\"\/comreg-publishes-consumer-care-statistics-report-q3-2022\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Q3 Consumer Care Statistics<\/a> with details of issues raised by consumers who contacted ComReg\u2019s Consumer Care team from 1 July to 30 September 2022. ComReg commissioned a survey which considered <a href=\"\/climate-change-and-communications-networks-resilience\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">climate change and communications networks resilience<\/a> and launched a consultation on <a href=\"\/consultation-launched-on-comregs-electronic-communications-sector-strategy\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ComReg\u2019s Electronic Communications Sector Strategy<\/a>.
