Of these, over 500k were fibre-to-the-premises (FTTP) subscriber lines representing 31.1% of total fixed broadband subscriber lines in Q4 2022, up from 23.6% in Q4 2021.<\/li>\n<li>According to Eurostat, Ireland\u2019s household broadband penetration rate (including fixed and mobile broadband) in 2021 was at 93%, which is higher than the EU average of 90%.<\/li>\n<li>On a monthly basis an average fixed residential broadband subscriber line used 412.7 GB of data, an increase of 13.2% since Q4 2021.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.comreg.ie\/publication\/quarterly-key-data-report-q4-2022\">full document<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.comreg.ie\/media\/2023\/03\/ComReg-Press-Release-08032023WEBSITE.pdf\">media release<\/a> are now available.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ComReg has today released its Quarterly Key Data Report on the Electronic Communications market for Q4 2022.
