ComReg today hosted a conference on the future of the telecoms sector in the Round Room at the Mansion House entitled “Telecoms: A Changing Landscape.”<\/p>\n
The conference explored how the internet will evolve over the next decade as hyperscaler content and service providers roll out new products, the demand on networks grows, and Europe is now considering who pays. The conference also examined investment in essential infrastructure and the need for resilience in our electronic communications infrastructure.<\/p>\n
The Chairperson of ComReg, Robert Mourik said the conference gave ComReg and its stakeholders a welcome opportunity to critically examine the challenges facing the sector given the huge growth in traffic across the internet and the need to ensure widespread and resilient connectivity.
