This followed a settlement agreement between ComReg and Eircom in November 2024 where Eircom had acknowledged regulatory breaches related to access, non-discrimination, and transparency in respect of the provision of Passive Access Records for Civil Engineering Infrastructure to other telecoms operators and agreed to pay \u20ac2.8 million in penalties and a \u20ac200,000 contribution towards ComReg\u2019s legal costs.
