It is also particularly useful if you are deaf, hard-of-hearing, or have speech difficulties. You can use RTT to call other people with compatible mobile phones as well as the emergency services.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Real Time Text<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>RTT is a service which adds a text channel alongside a mobile voice call. It is a way of typing messages during a phone call, where the other person sees what you\u2019re typing as you type it, letter by letter, without having to press \u201csend\u201d. It\u2019s like talking, but with text instead of voice.
