These are unsolicited communications with an aim to mislead you into sharing personal or financial information. ComReg is working with the telecommunications industry to help combat these scams, but it\u2019s important to stay vigilant.<\/p>\n<p>To Stay Scam Safe, remember:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>S<\/strong>&#8211; Stop for a moment and don\u2019t\u00a0rush to respond to urgent calls or texts. Hang up if pressured.<\/li>\n<li><strong>C<\/strong>&#8211; Check if you recognise the number.
