New 057 area (will comprise of Portlaoise, Abbeyleix. Tullamore and Birr)

All regions of the new 057 area are undergoing changes to STD codes and to the individual subscriber telephone numbers. In all cases, the old 5-digit subscriber numbers will be increased to 7-digit by addition of a 2-digit prefix, as shown below. The STD code will become 057 in all cases. The tables at the bottom show how to convert your previous number to its new format or you can alternatively enter it into the automated change boxes below and simply press the "GO" button.
