      <description>ComReg has today made a final determination in respect to the dispute between Colt Telecom Ireland and Eircom Limited in regarding Eircoms provision of Wholesale Uncontended Ethernet access components.
In summary, the determination sets out that Colts request was a reasonable request for Wholesale Uncontended Ethernet access components and that Eircom has an obligation to meet this request for access, pursuant to Decision D7/05. Please see document below for further details.

      <description>ComReg has today made a final determination in respect to the dispute between BT Ireland and Eircom in relation to Local Loop Unbundling (LLU) collocation at Eircom Nutley Exchange.
 
In summary, the determination sets out that BTs request was a reasonable request for an existing LLU service and that Eircom has an obligation to meet this request for access, pursuant to Decision D8/04. The determination also sets out that Eircom is to make an offer to BT for the requested access and defines the terms associated with this offer.

The decision sets out that a mobile operator cannot charge in excess of 2.05 to another mobile operator when a customer moves. Similarly, a fixed operator cannot charge in excess of 4.02 to another fixed operator when a customer moves.</description>

      <description>The Commission for Communications Regulation (ComReg) has today announced that, following a request from Eircom Limited (Eircom), the deadline for Eircom to make representations or remedy the non-compliance with its non-discrimination obligation in relation to Sync Checker has been extended to 9 January 2009.

The Information Notice 08/95, published 4 December 2008, which is available on the ComReg website www.comreg.ie, stated that ComReg had notified Eircom of its findings of non-compliance. Eircom was given one month to make representations or remedy the non-compliance.
