ComReg publishes market research on the impact of COVID-19 on home broadband use in Ireland

We recently published the findings from a survey on the impact COVID-19 is having on home broadband use in Ireland.

The survey was conducted in April 2020 and is based on responses from a sample of 1,049 adults nationwide. The main findings found that:

  • 3 in 5 have seen an increase in their home broadband usage since 1 March
  • 2 in 3 of all workers are now working from home to some degree
  • 3 in 4 agree that their broadband is adequate for working from home and 4 in 5 feel it meets the needs of their household

The results of this survey can be viewed in full at ComReg publications.
