Following an investigation by ComReg, on 5 November 2025, the District Court in Macroom convicted VOIP and Internet Services Limited, trading as Tipp Broadband and Rural Broadband, for failing to meet information and complaints handling code of practice requirements.
Tipp Broadband and Rural Broadband pleaded guilty to 4 counts resulting in fines totalling €15,000 and a contribution towards ComReg’s legal costs.
Tipp Broadband and Rural Broadband has lodged an appeal against the imposed penalty.
