Broadband Speeds – information is in your contract

Internet service providers are required to include information in consumer contracts in relation to:

  • the minimum, normally available, maximum and advertised download and upload speed of fixed networks;
  • the estimated maximum and advertised download and upload speeds of mobile networks;

We have a page on our website with advice and information on these requirements.

If you are seeking a new mobile plan or planning to switch internet provider, ComReg Compare is our comparison tool which allows you to compare charges across service providers. The Compare engine helps you to select the best offer for you, based on your usage. The tool also includes details of handsets including bill pay phones and pay as you go phones.
