ComReg publishes its decision (D03/16) on the revised prices for Eir’s current generation wholesale access services. The paper determines prices inter alia for wholesale line rental (WLR), local loop unbundling and civil infrastructure access (access to ducts and poles). WLR is the principal means by which alternative operators who use Eir’s network provide fixed voice services in Ireland. The monthly rental for WLR is to fall from €18.02 per month to €15.91 per month in 2016 effective 1 July 2016.
