Childhood Cancer Ireland is a charity founded by and led by parents of children with cancer and survivors. As a parent and survivor-led charity, we understand that a diagnosis of childhood cancer has a devastating impact on the entire family. We help to ease the burden of diagnosis and treatment on children and their families by raising funds to provide practical and emotional supports. We also advocate for better supports and services for families, as well as better treatments and outcomes for children, adolescents and young adults.

To provide access to free Clinical Assessment and Management to all families of a young person who are living with an Inherited Cardiac Condition or have suffered, or are at risk of, a sudden cardiac death. To provide a Family Support Programme, offering free access to Listening Volunteers, Mentors and bereavement specialists. To organize events, and provide access to information and networks. To support research into the causes and prevention of sudden cardiac death, in collaboration with other likeminded bodies.

Over the years, our purpose has evolved: our main focus is on creating the social change needed to end domestic violence. We continue to work closely with 37 frontline services, throughout Ireland, to achieve this. Together, we support the development and provision of critical lifelines to women and children. We also provide direct specialist domestic violence services for women and children including refuge. These services are primarily provided for women and children living in Mayo and surrounding counties.

Woodie’s Heroes is an annual charity fundraising drive organised by retailer Woodie’s which raises money for 4 different Irish children’s charities each summer. The charities are picked by an internal colleague vote and donations come through stores, online donations and donations from suppliers of the organisation. At the end of the fundraising period, the funds raised are divided equally among the 4 charities. This year the charities are Autism Assistance Dogs Ireland, ISPCC Childline, Make-A-Wish & Down Syndrome Ireland.

Competition: “Win a trip for two to Oasis in Croke Park” competition run by Wireless Radio (ROI) Ltd which runs from July 28th to August 8th, when a guaranteed winner will win the overall prize of a VIP trip for 2 to see Oasis in Dublin on August 16th 2025 including overnight accommodation and transfers to and from the hotel to the concert. There will be multiple entry periods across the length of the promotion - Monday 28th July at 7am to Friday August 8th at 5pm. In order to win the overall prize the entrant must be selected from our random overall prize draw and be available to take our call on Friday August 8th between 5.15pm and 6pm. The Rotunda Foundation is the official fundraising arm of the Rotunda Hospital. We raise funds to support the outstanding care delivered at the Hospital. Donations fund additional equipment, family and baby care initiatives and research. Established in 1745 by Bartholomew Mosse, Founder and first Master of the Rotunda Hospital, it is the World’s first Maternity Training Hospital. A ballroom ‘rotunda’, function rooms and pleasure gardens, were built on site to fund the maternity care of Dublin’s poorest women. Nearly three centuries later, with 10,000 babies born per annum, the Rotunda Hospital remains the Maternity Hospital of Choice. Through the Rotunda Foundation, your donations provide funding for additional equipment, research and infrastructure that is not funded by the State, to support Rotunda staff make exceptional maternity care possible
