EU Restrictive Measures concerning Ukraine – broadcasting prohibition on Russian state-owned media

ComReg wishes to remind industry that on 1 March 2022 the European Union adopted a Regulation concerning restrictive measures in view of Russia’s actions destabilising the situation in the Ukraine. That Regulation came into effect on 2 March and is available here: Publications Office (europa.eu).

On 4 March ComReg issued an industry news item and an information notice to alert industry to this Regulation.

ComReg now wishes to advise industry that the European Commission (EC) has recently published Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) on this matter and related matters which is available here.
