Today we reveal the latest market research findings emerging from the data we collected on the impact of COVID-19 on consumer use and perception of telecommunications services.

 

The research examines consumers’ experiences of using broadband services and mobile phone services at home during the COVID-19 pandemic, with a particular focus on those who are using these services to work from home. Some of the key trends emerging from the data found that:

 

  • 93% value being able to access and use broadband at home during Covid-19
  • 89% value being able to access and use their mobile phone at home during Covid-19
  • 77% believe their home broadband is adequate to meet the needs of the household
