Siteviewer

Update: Following the publication of Decision D23/24 regarding the publication of radio spectrum licence information, ComReg has updated its Siteviewer tool to publish,  in addition to mobile licences, information regarding fixed radio link and satellite earth stations licences. The previous interactive map for FWALA licences has also been amalgamated into Siteviewer.

Siteviewer is an interactive map of Ireland here which contains the following information regarding four radio spectrum licence types:

  1. Fixed Radio Link Licences – https://www.comreg.ie/industry/radio-spectrum/licensing/search-licence-type/radio-links/:
    • the location of every licensed fixed radio link radio and antenna (the “apparatus”);
    • the operators which own or controls the apparatus; and
    • the licence details for the apparatus.
  1. Mobile Licences – https://www.comreg.ie/industry/radio-spectrum/licensing/search-licence-type/mobile-licences-3/:
    • the location of every mobile network base station and antenna (the “apparatus”);
    • the operators which own or controls the apparatus; and
    • the types of mobile services (i.e. 2G, UMTS, LTE, or NR) provided from each location.

Copies of the mobile network operators’ licence schedules which list the apparatus and site locations can be found here.

  1. FWALA Licences – https://www.comreg.ie/industry/radio-spectrum/licensing/search-licence-type/fixed-wireless-access-local-area-fwala/:
    • the operator, the service area and the licensed frequency channel.
  1. Satellite Earth Station Licences – https://www.comreg.ie/industry/radio-spectrum/licensing/search-licence-type/satellite/:
    • the location of every licensed radio link radio and antenna (the “apparatus”);
    • the operators which own or controls the apparatus; and
    • the licence details for the apparatus.

In addition, Siteviewer also contains ComReg’s Non-Ionising Radiation measurement reports.

ComReg built and maintains Siteviewer using information provided by the licensees.

While Siteviewer is kept as up to date as possible, ComReg does not accept liability for any inaccuracies in its content.
